Need More Gas from Your Digester?

The system pictured below was recently installed at a beef processing plant. The enormous amount of fats, oils and grease as a byproduct of the beef processing made it a prime candidate for installing an anaerobic digester. The engineer anticipated maximum methane production to be between 65-70% gas once the project was completed. After adding our Microbe-Lift BGE product to the system, the digester now generates between 75-77% gas. The contract operator here has been using our products to solve problems for their customers for over 12 years. This is another example of smart people thinking outside the box and using specialty tools to produce exceptional results.

Here is a little more information about the challenges of operating anaerobic digesters. The creation of hydrogen sulfide gas or H2S, which is highly corrosive, has been a problem from the inception. Our Microbe-Lift products help strip out the H2S early in the process, which in turn can reduce or eliminate chemical inputs. By utilizing more feed stock materials for the creation of gas, this minimizes the amount of waste that is discharged from the digesters. Add this to the increase in gas production when you utilize our Microbe-Lift BGE products, it creates a win-win situation for the operator.
